The short version: your Word document is converted on your device. We do not upload it to our servers.
Documents you convert
DOCX conversion runs locally in your browser. We do not receive, store, inspect or use your document, its contents or its filename for analytics or training.
Analytics
Google Analytics is optional and does not load until you select “Accept analytics.” If you accept, it may collect basic usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser information, and referral source.
We disable advertising signals and do not send document files, document text or filenames. You can decline analytics and still use the converter. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Hosting and delivery
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Like most web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process technical request data needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP addresses, timestamps and request metadata.
If you contact us, we use the information in your message only to respond and manage the enquiry. Please do not email confidential documents.
Your choices
You may use the converter without an account and without accepting analytics. Clearing this site’s local storage removes your saved analytics preference.
